We’ve all heard this term, but what does it mean? Superfoods are a nutrient rich food that is especially beneficial for health and well-being.

The two main groups of these above and beyond health optimizing foods are: Fruits, seeds, and nuts.

So what does it take to be one of these fruits? Not every fruit qualifies. To be a “super” fruit nutrition scientists recommend the fruit be packed with antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. These nutrient dense fruits can help you live longer, look better, and prevent disease.
